BLISTERS

This is the wildest thing I have ever seen. I took the kids swimming when we were visiting Grandpa and Grandma Pfeiffer. Luke was telling me on the walk back to the condo that his toes REALLY hurt. I had him shower and then took a look. This is what I saw. These blisters are only on his big toes. The only thing I can think of is that he must have gotten them on the ruff part of the wall he was pushing off us as he was swimming. Totally weird and painful!!!!

WART REMOVAL

This series of photos totally captures Darin's journalist style of photography. Here is the at home remedy to removing warts effectively....thanks Aunt Tina!

MARTIN ROLLER BLADES

Every free moment Martin has you will find him roller blading. He is always trying something new, building some new jumps or working on speed.....this kid can move!

AWANA CARS

Time for making cars for drive-in movie night at Awana Club. Martin did all the flame drawings and painting on his car. He designed, cut and put together his entire car this year except for some final detail work from Mom. Luke decided to do a Superman car. He created the shape and put together his car and made the "S" and mom helped with a lot of the detail work. They were VERY happy with how they turned out. Fun times!

MARTIN'S DRAWINGS

Martin has really been into drawing lately. Here are a few of his creations. He calls them Power Creatures. It is fun to watch him use his imagination.

I love this photo of Martin that Darin took. I can't believe how grown up he looks.

This is what happens when it is the weekend and there is no set schedule. They got into the costume box and this is what I saw. Obviously they take after their dad. These are the only photos they allowed me to post with much reservation. Our boys know how to have fun.

Here is shot of Martin in action. He loves anything with wheels.....roller blades, skateboards, scooters, and bikes. He also enjoys drawing. This is just one of many drawings he has done recently.

I really like these two photos of Luke. These show his goofy side and his mellow side.

SNOW IN FEBRUARY

The boys were so excited to have snow. They couldn't wait to get outside to build a snowman. They worked on part of one in the front yard and then Martin got too cold and came in. Luke stayed out and made his own snowman in the backyard. He did a great job. The last pic is after the snow started to melt. This is the saddest, dirtiest and most pathetic remains of a snowman I think I have ever seen.

This was taken from our driveway. It is so beautiful I wanted to post it for you to see.

A DAY IN THE RAIN!

We love to play in the rain. There is a huge puddle that forms a block or so away from us, which is so fun to play in. The rain came pouring down, so we headed off to our puddle jumping place and Darin came to capture the fun. On the way back the boys got a kick out of stomping in the steady stream of water that runs along side the curb and having it splash up on me. They thought this was too much fun. Making more memories :-)

MARTIN TURNS 9!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe our first-born is already 9 years old! Time goes by too fast. Martin had his party at Skate World. To roller blade is Martin's absolute, hands down favorite thing to do!!. It was a must to have a skate party. The parents could skate for free so it was a blast going back in time.....it made me feel like I wasn't as close to 40 as I really am :-)

If you can't find Luke he is probably up in a tree or out back digging. I think these are his favorite activities. He has continued to dig the hole in these photos and it is so big now that he can stand inside and you can't even see him it is SO deep.
