OUR HOMESCHOOL MEDIEVAL FEAST

Here are my two kings. My Mom bought this outfit for me to wear the night of the feast so I would fit the part. The boys made their own crowns and septors. The castle was a joint effort with the boys doing most of the work. Auntie Amelia made the king outfits the boys are wearing...she did an awesome job! This medieval study took A LOT of time, but was a fun was to learn and it created a lot of fun memories. Posted by Picasa

How cute! We heard so much about that night from your mom when we were there last! Everyone looks so good and "authentic"!

Wow. I'm impressed. The set, the costumes, the dinner. I'm left to wonder though: Where's Prince Darin and did he have to rescue April from the high tower, beset by a fire breathing dragon in order for her to make dinner? I suspect he scaled the tower wall in a harness, stabbed the beast in the heart with his ice axe, rappelled down with Princess April in tow and took a photo of their subsequent embrace with black and white slide film so the rest of the world would never see it!
-Love and miss you all.

My brother you crack me up!!!! I could actually see that scenario playing out. The prince was in attendance, but avoided being in any photos :-)
