Grand Prix Race
This morning we attended the Annual Awana Grand Prix Race. The race is the highlight of the year for all the Awana kids. Martin has worked hard on his cars every year, but has never received a trophy. This year he went for speed verses design in hopes of at least placing in the top three spots. He was SOOO thrilled to place FIRST in the speed category. It was fun to watch all the kids get excited for each others cars. It was a fun way to spend a Saturday morning.

My sons just participated in their first Cub Scout Pinewood Derby -- and had as much fun as Martin did, by the looks of it! (No first place trophy for us though . . . how awesome for him!)

Very fun! We did Awana for years and the Grand Prix was always something to look forward to. My kids always went for the design, though.
Way to go Martin!! So cool! I love your pictures. You all are so great at the picture taking! Bye the way, how cool to be #4, are you sure you aren't closer!? Bob and I were bumped two spots in a month and I imagine that affected you? Just wondering. Glad to see you are all doing so well April!
